Fellowship First - Saturday July 25th - 7 PM
A fellowship first tournament is a recurring Studio Staja format where players are encouraged to build teams focused on creativity rather than strategy. The intent is to think about characters and sculpts rather than dials and synergy)

Build a 300 point force around the theme CanCon.
What is CanCon?
Cancon, boradly speaking, refers to cultural and creative content that is Canadian in nature. This usually means music, theatre, film, television, or any art more generally.
The top 3 winners of the event will be picked by players and judges and NOT by the overall results of three rounds of swiss, so if you want the top picks of prizing, focus on the theme rather than the strategic build!
All figures from Modern and Silver Ages are allowed and they can be any share of the build total that you want.
NO Sideline elements are allowed
All Modern Age Maps are allowed.

4th place and beyond: Overall results of three swiss rounds.
Prizing:
A selection of LE's will be drafted starting the winner all the way down to every participant. There will be at least 1 LE for every player in the event, as well as additional prizing to be added based on attendance.

Format: Sealed – A team composed of three players will receive one brick of DC Heroclix : Fight for Gotham City boosters for sealed play, consisting of 12 boosters.
Legal Game Elements: Only game elements that are pulled from the booster packs received at the event may be used on each player’s team. No outside game elements are allowed to be added to a player’s team, except standard objects, terrain and maps.
Sealed Packs: At the start of a HeroClix team sealed event, each team of three players will receive 12 sealed standard HeroClix booster packs . When instructed by tournament staff, all teams will open their packs and confirm the contents. A team may request a replacement pack if one or more figures in the pack is in an unplayable state. This includes but is not limited to: dial/dial sticker missing; dial sticker does not match the figure (this can be confirmed by comparing the collector number on the top of dial and the collector number printed on the dial sticker). If a figure’s sculpt is physically broken (i.e. missing a head/arm etc. or missing the sculpt entirely) it is still considered in a playable state. A figure being considered in a “playable state” is at the discretion of the tournament staff. A player must return all contents of the pack to receive a replacement pack. Replacement packs are only available as supplies last.
Team Building: Once all teams have opened their packs and confirmed their contents, each team will have 30 minutes to build three separate 300-point forces using the figures pulled from all 12 booster packs. If using standard objects, each player must follow the normal rules for including objects on their force.
Team Designation and Force Assignment: Each player will use one of the three forces that were built. They must use the exact same force they chose for the entire tournament. In addition, each team must assign a designation (Player ‘A,’ Player ‘B,’ and Player ‘C’) to each player on their team. This designation cannot change and they will remain that designation for the entire tournament. Each round, player ‘A’ will play against player ‘A’ on the opposing team, and so on.

Exclusive Buyable Figures
BUYABLE FIGURES TO BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY
Players who purchase a ticket to any of the three main events will be allowed to purchase up to one (1) of each buyable figures while supplies last and will be able to reserve them in advance.
Exclusives will only be available to people attending the event and can only be picked up on site.

Battle Royale (Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 AM)
Registration : $30
Battle Royale is a multiplayer booster draft HeroClix format designed for quick play. Each player gets a sealed booster at the start of the event. Then players draft a team by selecting one figure from their pack and passing the remaining figures to the player on their left, continuing until each player has five figures. KO’d figures return to play at the start of their player’s turn, so everyone continues to play until time expires. The player with the most KO points at the end of the game wins!
Prizing : 1 random boxed LE figure, 1 fellowship One Shot Card and 1 bystander token pack will be added to the prize pool.

Do I need a team to participate in Team Nationals?
While we encourage you to connect with other players before the event to make your teams, we won't turn anyone away who wants to play! We will have some "extra" players on site to fill out teams and make sure everyone is matched up.
Do you know anyone who wants to carpool or share a hotel room?
We invite everyone who wants to come to the event to join our Discord where there is a channel dedicated to connecting players!
