Hockey Hardware: The Original Game

Hockey Hardware: The Original Game is a fun, competitive, and authentic tabletop game that was created locally in Ottawa! The game is also made in Canada and fully assembled domestically.

Hockey Hardware involves a great mix of luck and strategy, social interaction, and unpredictability. No lead is safe and no two games are the same.

There are multiple paths to victory in every game and big blowouts, massive comebacks, major upsets, and tight matches are all possible. There is no trivia involved, and no hockey knowledge or experience is needed to play, have fun, or win.

The goal of the game is to get the Champion’s Cup Trophy Card. This card is awarded to the player with the most Hockey Hardware Trophy Cards at the end of the 3rd Period.

Each Trophy Card represents a different hockey stat or combination of hockey stats. Players compete for 11 Trophy Cards by rolling dice to collect hockey stats, avoiding Adversity, and strategically playing Game Cards against opponents to push them back or to get themselves ahead in pursuit of the Hockey Hardware.

The player with the most Hockey Hardware Trophy Cards at the end of the 3rd period, is awarded the Champion’s Cup Trophy Card, and wins the game!
